
The Center for Gulf Studies at Qatar University organized the 8th annual international interdisciplinary conference entitled “Gulf Families:Continuity and Change” in collaboration with the Doha International Family Institute
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) participated in the United Nations (UN) 50th Session of the Commission on Population and Development which was held April 3-7, 2017 at the UN Headquarters in New York. DIFI submit a written statement calling for a stronger commitment to strengthen the family institution as a “window of opportunity” to achieve sustainable development goals. As an NGO accredited with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the UN, DIFI’s work aims to strengthen Arab families through research, policy and outreach.
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) has launched the OSRA research grant in its sixth cycle which is a research grant on Arab families and family policy related issues.
