11th plenary meeting – 62nd Session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD62): The Influence of Digital Transformation on Inclusive Growth and Development: A Path to Achieving Social Justice.
To Whom it May Concern,
The Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) is a global policy and advocacy Institute working to advance knowledge on Arab families and promote evidence-based polices at national, regional and international levels. DIFI is a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) and is an integral part of the Foundation’s efforts to foster healthy, educated societies underpinned by strong cohesive families in Qatar and the region. DIFI has a special consultative status with United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSCO).
In commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family in 2024 (IYF+30), DIFI and partner non-governmental organizations (NGOs) developed the “Civil Society Declaration”, in preparation for the celebration of the IYF+30.
We call on you and/or your organization to join the Declaration, towards reaffirming the role of the family unit and acknowledging the key role that is played by family-oriented networks and organizations in advancing the mainstreaming of family policies within local, national and international policies.
