Dr. Sharifa Noaman Al-Emadi, Executive Director of the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), met with His Eminence Prof. Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad, Grand Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, in a bilateral meeting held on the sidelines of the 11th International Fatwa Conference in Cairo. The meeting explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation between research and fatwa institutions in the fields of family studies and joint research, as well as ways to raise awareness of emerging family issues amid rapid social and cultural transformations and benefit from scientific and research expertise in developing approaches to address them.
