On the sidelines of the 62nd Session of the Human Rights Council, the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office at Geneva and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), organized a side event titled:
“Family Wellbeing and Resilience During Conflict.”
The event explored ways to strengthen family wellbeing and resilience in conflict-affected settings, highlighting the importance of policies and programmes that protect and empower families in the face of humanitarian and social challenges. The discussions emphasized the role of international cooperation and evidence-based policies in supporting families during times of crisis.
