DIFI launches initiative on the Family in the Arab World

A new initiative looking into the literature on the situation of the family in the Arab world was launched in April 2013 by the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) and the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy & International Affairs at the American University of Beirut. The project is designed to explore and analyze available knowledge on family in the Arab world, generated both in the Arab World and from outside the region.

The Doha International Institute for Family studies and Development (DIIFSD), has shown support for the book 'Population Dynamics in Muslim Countries, Assembling the Jigsaw'. Edited by Hans Groth and Alfonso Souza-Pouza from the World Demographic and Ageing Forum (WDA) in St Gallen, Switzerland, this is a book on the vitally important topic of Demography and Health in Islamic Countries.
